THS:UKI Alan Ingham Award 2025 Runner Up’s

𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆 submitted his paper titled ‘𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗭𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀’.
Cameron recently graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc in Ocean Exploration and Surveying.
Cameron has always enjoyed doing anything water related whether it’s sports, relaxation or for work, so doing an ocean related degree was a no brainer for him! He has recently joined the team at Shoreline Surveys Limited where he is looking forward to developing his professional skills and passion for hydrography.

Joseph Wood (right) submitted his paper titled ‘𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’.
Joseph recently graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc in Ocean Exploration and Surveying. Joseph is keen to begin his career in surveying and has an interest in offshore construction support. After a summer placement at Uncrewed Survey Solutions he gained an appreciation for the utility of uncrewed survey vessels.

Both papers will feature in future editions of 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, so keep an eye out! 📰
