Membership of The Hydrographic Society UK & Ireland is open to any person, company or institution interested in Hydrography and its related disciplines. There are two types of membership: Individual (including Student & New Graduate and Retired categories) and Corporate. The benefits of each type of membership are summarised below.

Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year. Subscriptions are renewed annually on 1 April.
Depending upon when during the year you join the Society you will be charged accordingly; if you join before 1 October then full rates apply, after 1 October half rates apply.

Student & New Graduate membership: as Student & New Graduate members typically join at the start of the academic year their first renewal will be the on the second 1 April of their membership e.g. a student joining the Society 08/10/21 will have their first renewal 01/04/23.
