Working groups

Working Groups and Committees are formed under the direction of the THS:UKI Board to carry out specific activities or projects.

Committees meet on a bi-monthly basis.

Current Committees & Working Groups

  • Education Committee

    The purpose of the Education Committee is to advance education, training, and professional development in hydrography and associated disciplines, in alignment with THS:UKI’s Strategic Objectives.

  • soundings Editorial Committee

    The purpose of the Editorial Committee is to support the production of soundings as a high-quality, authoritative publication that delivers value to THS:UKI members and supports the Society’s strategic objectives.

  • Engagement Committee

    The purpose of the Engagement Committee is to strengthen engagement across THS:UKI. The Committee provides strategic direction, coordination, and enablement.

  • Membership Committee

    The purpose of the Membership Committee is to support the sustainable growth and retention of THS:UKI membership.

  • HPAS Working Group

    This Working Group has produced the Hydrographic Professional Accreditation Scheme (HPAS) which THS:UKI delivers on behalf of the IFHS.
