THS:UKI Scotland Branch Sensors and Solutions Evening

The popular Sensors and Solutions evening is returning on Wednesday, 29th April 2026 at the Palm Court Hotel, Aberdeen, running from 18:30 to 21:30.

The event offers a relaxed, industry-focused platform for companies supplying survey technology to showcase their latest products, innovations, and approaches.

What the evening offers:

 Open showcase format rather than academic presentations.

  • Presenter registration fee: £100, which includes a 5‑minute pitch slot and a table/stand at the event to promote your offering.
  • Audience: Survey professionals and decision makers from across the industry.

Presentation guidance:

Each presentation slot should cover, as a minimum:

  • Introduction of the company and presenter
  • Overview of the sensor, technology, or solution
  • Explanation of its value and impact
  • A short case study or example of use

We look forward to receiving your confirmations, and hearing from you regarding proposed topics and speakers. We will be inviting applications from the wider survey community, but it would be a missed opportunity not to showcase the excellent work coming from your own organisations.

Full Description

This is a bit of a departure from our usual events where we try to minimise the commercial angle, this one is an unapologetic, full‑on showcase of the latest offering from some of the key suppliers in our industry, and all the wonderful advantages they can bring to offshore survey operations!

The format for the evening will be a series of short presentations each limited to 5 minutes. We will hear about the sensors or solutions on offer before moving into an open networking session, where each presenter will have a table around the room to take questions and display their hardware or marketing materials.
