Remote Hydrography 2024

We are back in Dublin for THS:UKI’s second Remote Hydrography conference and exhibition in cojunction with INFOMAR. This event brings together manufacturers, operators, regulators, and research and development leaders from both industry and academia, within the rapidly developing field of remote surveying and uncrewed survey operations.

Remote Hydrography 2024 provides an opportunity to share experience gained in the development and application of autonomous and uncrewed platforms (surface, underwater, aerial, and space-based) and the associated command and support services. These and enabling technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence will revolutionise workflows for hydrographic data collection, processing, analysis, and presentation.

The conference will build on the success of the 2022 event which featured informative lively debates, both in session and during the busy social programme. The 2024 event will also provide formal and informal opportunities to network, make contacts, and build relationships. Through leaders, innovators, and practitioners, Remote Hydrography represents a key opportunity for networking, promotion, and demonstrations. For more information on the conference visit the Remote Hydrography 2024 dedicated webpage.

THS:UKI and our partner INFOMAR would like to invite you to join us for the Remote Hydrography 2024 Icebreaker on Monday 26 February 1800 – 2100 at The Old Storehouse (finger food provided).

The Remote Hydrography 2024 networking social ‘Taste of Ireland’ will take place on Tuesday 27 February within the Exhibition space at Dublin Castle.

Further details of these events, along with information on the location and nearby hotels (some with negotiated preferential rates) can be found here.

Delegate rates include all social and networking events. Please note that partner rates for social events ONLY are available upon request, for more information please contact event@ths-uki.org.

Full Description

We are back in Dublin for THS:UKI’s second Remote Hydrography conference and exhibition. This event brings together manufacturers, operators, regulators, and research and development leaders from both industry and academia, within the rapidly developing field of remote surveying and uncrewed survey operations.

The conference provides an opportunity to share experience gained in the development and application of autonomous and uncrewed platforms (surface, underwater, aerial, and space-based) and the associated command and support services. These and enabling technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence will revolutionise workflows for hydrographic data collection, processing, analysis, and presentation.

The adoption and implementation of the technologies around surface and subsea platforms for remote hydrography are creating unique opportunities and challenges. In addition to the enabling technology, the event will focus on risk and regulation through a combination of keynote presentations and panel sessions with case study presentations from the inshore and offshore sectors as well as key research projects related to remotely piloted platforms and associated control systems.

We are kindly supported by our partners the Geological Survey Ireland, Marine Institute, INFOMAR and Fáilte Ireland.
