This presentation will be focusing on the automation and creation of cost-effective solutions without to compromise of the quality of the end results with a minimized carbon footprint. During the years we have created CIS – Clinton Internet Solution. This solution has been used since the foundation of the company 2015. During 2023 we have benchmarked a USV solution and a “standard” survey vessel with some interesting findings. We will show you our lessons learned during the last 10 years and also how the future looks ahead.   

The presentation will give directions on where our current and future developments will be.  

 

 Martin Wikmar

He holds a Master of Science in Automation & Control from Chalmers University of Technology, (Sweden) and degree in Finance & Management at BOND University (Australia). 

He has close to 30 years’ experience of technology development- and subsea operation from USV, AUVs to DP2 vessels and has has been involved with the Maritime & Coastguard Agency – CHP Programme since 2005 with HI1122 in Orkney Island. Where he established a tidal datum and in the end generate the VORF model for parts of the Orkney Islands.  

He has held several senior positions in the survey industry and is a recognized expert in the integration of survey sensors onto vessels and founder of Norwegian Offshore Survey & Positioning organization(NOSP) where he was a member from since 2012 until 2023.
