With less than a month to go until Ocean Business 2025, exhibitors are gearing up to unveil exciting new products set to shape the future of ocean science and technology.

More than 350 world leading manufacturers and service providers in this fast-changing sector have booked space at the biggest edition yet of the premier exhibition for marine industries.

The three-day event, which runs from April 8-10 at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, is open to all visitors for free by registering online at www.oceanbusiness.com.

This year’s Ocean Business, inside the expanded exhibition halls and featuring a programme of training and demonstrations on the dockside, on board vessels and in the classroom, is expected to attract record crowds from around the world.

Visitors will be able to see the latest in transformational ocean technology, from autonomous vehicle underwater monitoring, next generation ROVs, advances in sensor technology, and much more.

Among the many highlights, Tritonia Scientific will present Hydrophis, its bespoke platform designed to revolutionise the way marine data is analysed. Using geo-referenced 3D photogrammetry and incorporating a wide range of other survey and data types, Hydrophis offers underwater clarity, says the Oban based company.

From Canada, satellite communications expert MetOcean Telematics will launch STREAM IMT, created to simplify global connectivity with fast, reliable and low-latency communication that works anywhere in the world.

Nine North, meanwhile, will show how its immersive 3D visualisations bring the ocean to life. The brainchild of ocean explorer Sylvain Pascaud and software engineer and cinematographer Matthieu Straub, Nine North has developed cutting-edge tools that empower researchers and industry experts to explore, map and understand the deep-sea environment.

Also launching at Ocean Business is McLane Research Laboratories’ newest eDNA sampler, the Suspended Particulate Rosette sampler (SuPR), which enables operator programmed selections that include total volume, flow rate and sample collection time, targeting phytoplankton and particulate trace metals, as well as eDNA.

Leaders in autonomous underwater inspection and exploration, Tethys Robotics will showcase Tethys ONE, which is equipped with advanced sensors and imaging technology, facilitating detailed mapping and analysis of oceanic infrastructure.

And, from France, AGISTAR will reveal how the innovative design of its BX-USV platform makes it perfectly suited for the development of advanced robotic systems, offering a low-cost, sustainable solution for various maritime tasks.

Cheri Arvonio, Event Director at show organiser Diversified Communications, said: ‘Ocean Business is renowned for bringing state-of-the-art innovation to a wider audience and this year looks likely to be memorable for ground-breaking announcements.

‘We’re delighted to be at the heart of this forward-thinking global community and can’t wait to see you in April for three days of pioneering developments across the ocean technology sector.’
