This position combines both office and field responsibilities, offering the chance to contribute to a wide range of hydrographic and geophysical projects. You’ll be engaged throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and data acquisition through processing, quality control, and final deliverables. The role covers a diverse suite of surveying techniques, including multibeam and single-beam echosounders, side-scan sonar, magnetometers, sub-bottom profilers, vessel-mounted and aerial LiDAR, as well as photogrammetric survey methods.
The position will be based at the Shoreline Surveys office when not undertaking fieldwork, working closely with the wider team. As part of the role, you will be required to carry out survey work away from home, typically averaging 4–8 overnight stays per month.
This role will provide unique opportunities to work in and help shape a growing and dynamic organisation alongside a passionate team of hydrographic specialists. We offer industry-competitive salaries commensurate with experience, offering cycle to work and electric car scheme (personal), training opportunities and a flexible working policy.
