Kongsberg Discovery is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic sales team and contribute to our continued success by driving innovation and maintaining our competitive edge. The successful candidate will focus on sales within the Research, Underwater Mapping, and Ocean Science markets, while also identifying opportunities to cross-sell products across our broader portfolio to meet evolving customer needs. You’ll be part of an experienced team, working collaboratively to maximise our sales potential.

Products & Solutions:

Your focus will be related to products & solutions from Kongsberg Discovery, a Company within the Kongsberg Group. Focusing on further development of product-oriented businesses and operations based on a strong technology platform. Kongsberg Discovery develop and produce world class products for positioning, navigation, underwater positioning, seabed mapping, fish finding and ocean science.

What you will be doing:

  • To create and maintain customer relations for system and product sales.
  • Develop sales and customer strategies for our products and solutions
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Operational sales towards defined areas and customers
  • Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
  • Coordinate customer activities with sales resources within KONGSBERG.
  • Order intake budget, prognosis short and long term.
  • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Attend industry conferences and events.

We think you should have:

  • Education – Technical education bachelor’s degree or similar.
  • Sales and marketing experience within the maritime industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in customer negotiation, sales and commercial processes is an advantage.
  • Work language is English.

You are able to:

  • Forward leaning and ambitious creating new opportunities.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and have a strong positive impact on business growth and profitability.
  • Work as part of a team consisting of technical and salespeople with global spread.
  • Build a network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve objectives
