Job Description

EIVA is looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join our Customer Service & Delivery team. The role supports our users across Europe through training, technical guidance, and operational assistance linked to our NaviSuite software and equipment ecosystem. You will also represent EIVA at industry events and exhibitions. We welcome candidates interested in either a full-time or freelance position.

As an Application Engineer, you’ll play a key part in ensuring successful deployment and use of EIVA software and equipment solutions in real‑world survey and data acquisition operations.

You’ll support customers both onsite and remotely, troubleshoot complex scenarios, and contribute user insights to improve future product development.

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructor-led customer trainings, both onsite, in the classroom, and online
  • Provide technical support, including resolving complex Freshdesk cases
  • Support customers with mobilisations, software/equipment setup, and online data acquisition
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX and Development teams by providing valuable user feedback
  • Represent EIVA at industry events and exhibitions across Europe

What you bring:

  • Background in surveying or offshore data acquisition
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with EIVA NaviSuite products is a plus
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and cross‑functional teams
  • Based in Europe and willing to travel as needed
