‘Is this the beginning of the end?’
How Hydrographic Surveying has changed from onsite – on water – open boats to advanced remote operations.
This is the last SW branch evening presentation this side of summer 2024 and will talk about the challenges, successes, failures, funnies and downright unbelievable things that went on (or perhaps still goes on?) in our industry. It will question whether these experiences are needed to keep the Hydrographer sharp or whether the Hydrographer of the future can still do a professional job in their pyjamas working from home on their dining room table!
