Drilling Trainer

As a Drilling Trainer you will be responsible for delivering training courses across the organisation by designing, developing, and delivering courses and programmes in accordance with Fugro training and policies and procedures.

• Work closely with the Fugro Academy Training team to design and develop training programmes.

• Virtual, Face to Face and Online Delivery of Drilling training courses and programmes

• Work closely with Land and Marine Drilling experts to gather the technical information required to develop training courses.

• Ensure a safe working environment, adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines, and ensure the welfare of all course attendees.

• Respond to emails from across the organisation.

• Updating the company databases, keeping records up to date

• This role may require occasional, global travel to various Fugro or client offices to deliver training.

• Supporting other trainers

• Experience with drilling technology and operations, onshore and/or offshore

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Good computer skills using Word / Excel / MS Project etc.

• Adaptability, with a proven ability to work as part of a small team and independently.

• Willingness to learn new skills, appropriate to the position, as Fugro Academy develops.

• Coaching, mentoring, or training junior Drillers.

• Leadership, mentoring and management experience.

• Experience of training course design and development processes
