This is a really flexible home-based opportunity to operate the new international Hydrographic Professional Accreditation scheme as well as help grow the footprint and influence of the International Federation of Hydrographic Societies and its national society members.

The purpose of the Accreditation Coordinator is to:

  • Provide the Secretariat for the IFHS Hydrographic Professional Accreditation Scheme.
  • Provide the Secretariat to the Executive Committee of IFHS.
  • Provide administrative support to the national societies of IFHS upon request from the IFHS Executive Committee.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to IFHS membership, stakeholders and assist with general communications.

The Accreditation Coordinator will work for the IFHS, however, their employment is administrated by THS:UKI.

The Hydrographic Society UK, operating as The Hydrographic Society UK & Ireland, is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental, learned professional society.  It provides a forum for all those involved in activities related to hydrography and associated disciplines, both in the UK and overseas.

IFHS:

IFHS is a Registered Charity (under UK law) with multi-national membership. It stands as a partnership of learned national and regional hydrographic societies dedicated to the promotion of hydrography and related sciences along with hydrographic education.
