DESCRIPTION:The Hydrographic Society UK & Ireland is delighted to offer an exclusive opportunity to visit Ocean Infinity’s Remote Control Centre (RCC) and gain first-hand insight into the future of uncrewed survey operations. \nHosted by Ocean Infinity\, this event provides a rare chance to explore how remote operations and advancements in Digital 4.0 technology are enabling lean-crewed and uncrewed surveys across geoscience\, hydrography\, UXO\, environmental studies\, construction\, and inspection. Ocean Infinity’s cutting-edge robotic technology supports industries including Energy\, Science\, Telecoms\, and Defence. Their mission is to create innovative robotic technology to transform operations at sea. \nOcean Infinity has generously offered access for up to 30 attendees to this event. Tickets are allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis\, with a limit of one per person. \nEvent Schedule: \n18:30 – Buffet and refreshments (tea\, coffee\, soft drinks) \n19:00 – Welcome and introduction by Ocean Infinity & The Hydrographic Society \n19:15 – Guided sessions in small groups\, covering: \n\nA presentation overview of Ocean Infinity’s global remote operations and uncrewed vessel fleet\nA tour of the Remote Control Centre\nA demonstration of Virtual Reality in remote operations\n\n20:45 – Event close \nAttendees are responsible for arranging their own transport to the venue.
